Classes will be offered in 4 rotations with 3 classes available per rotation. Sisters will be able to choose 1 class per rotation and/or they can choose to participate in the service opportunities during any or all of the rotations.
Final descriptions of the classes and names of teachers will be updated as soon as possible. The times for each rotation will be published on the printed program the day of the conference.

Deepen Conversion to Heavenly Father & Jesus Christ & Restored Gospel

Learn how to get more from your home gospel study and create a peaceful and Christ centered environment for your home.
3. Worshipping Amidst Distractions
Teacher: Margaret Wright (Columbia 1 Ward)
Our Heavenly Father wants to reveal to us truths and insights during church and our gospel study, but distractions get in the way. Some distractions are preventable while other distractions are not. Let's make a plan on how we rein in distractions and receive what our Father wants to reveal to us.

Gather Scattered Israel on Both Sides of the Veil - Missionary Work

1. Seeing and Seizing the Missionary Moments Around You

So you have a desire to do missionary work, but you feel intimidated by the "how to" aspects of it? This class explores the nuts and bolts of influencing others to find truth in ways that are easy, natural and incredibly rewarding. HINT: the scriptures truly do have all the answers.
2. Gathering Sisters Under Our Wings

Come and listen to her experiences about being a new sister at Church and discuss ways we can all help others feel welcome.
3. Share Goodness - Letting Your Light Shine Through Social Media

Social Media can be a great place to share moments of our lives. Learn new tips and tricks for creating a positive corner of the Internet for your family and your faith.

Gather Scattered Israel on Both Sides of the Veil - Temple & Family History Work
Classes to be offered:
1. Taking Family Names to the Temple 101
Teacher: Lorraine Layton (Eldersburg Ward)
Are you the first one in your family to work on family history and you don't know where to start? Come and learn what information to begin gathering and some tips on how to gather it so you can take your ancestors' names to the temple.
2. Connecting With Your Ancestors
Teacher: Diana Gardner (Columbia 1 Ward - Stake Family History Center Director)
There's more to family history work than names & dates. Join us for a glimpse into the adventure of photos, stories, recordings, recipes, activities & games that help us and our families engage in family history in creative ways.
3. From the Routine to the Sublime - Enriching My Temple Experience
Teacher: Kaitlyn Dixon (Savage Mill Ward)
We will discuss how we can be spiritually, mentally, and physically prepared as we attend the temple, how we can more effectively worship and serve at the temple, and how our temple experiences can enrich our daily lives.

Strengthen the Conversion of Children and Youth

1. JustServe! Life Changing Experiences for Children & Youth
Teacher: Elizabeth Van Patten (Columbia 1 Ward - former JustServe Stake Specialist)
When we connect with our communities through service, we strengthen love of ourselves, others, and our God. Join us for a discussion on how this is done by just serving.
2. Better Communication, Deeper Relationships with my Children
Teacher: Cheri Meiners (Savage Mill Ward)
Learn Christlike methods of communication that can create a positive climate in your home. Discover ways to express expectations and be clear about consequences while being empathic and loving. Bonus: Learn to speak so that children comply --with 97% clinical accuracy.
3. Becoming a More Effective Teacher at Home and Church
Teacher: Ashley Halsey (Eldersburg Ward)
In this class we’ll discuss how being an active and engaged learner will naturally lead to authentic and relatable teaching opportunities at home and church. We’ll focus on four C’s of effective teaching: Curiosity, Conviction, Conversation, and “en-Couragement.” Come ready to be vulnerable so we can learn from one another’s successes and failures!
